TREES Take LA!

TREES Take LA!

September 4, 2014

Come out and meet staff, friends and supporters old and new of Trees for the Future as we visit Los Angeles!  We’re partnering up with our friend, green-blogger, TV hostess and intrepid traveler Tiffany Paige (www.greenwithtiffany.com) to throw a party in the City of Angels for anyone interested in tree planting, international develoment, or just having a good time.

Trees for the Future is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 1989, and since then we’ve helped plant over 100 million trees in dozens of countries and given over 200,000 people the capacity to improve their livelihoods and land.  With new staff and revitalized sense of purpose, we launch into our next phase and hope to plant 25 million trees in 2014 alone.  Learn more at our website: www.trees.org.

Registrations for this cocktail party and fundraiser event include plenty of healthy hors d’oeuvres, first drink ticket and one door prize chance.  Attire is casual, but extra points for anyone wearing green!

Register in advance to save some green, tickets are:

– $20 in advance, closing at 2PM on Wednesday September 10th
– $25 at the door (if available, cash or check only)

We’ll have awesome raffle prizes as well, including:

An extremely efficient washer/dryer pair from Amana

Also, all registrants will be automatically entered in our September Drawing for an Energy Star clothes washer/dryer pair from Amana, over $1600 value!

Please confirm above, help spread the word, and we look forward to seeing you then and there!

We want to thank our sponsors Amana and Trinity Oaks Vineyards for helping to make this event possible!

Amana plants one tree for each appliance they sell!  Learn more about their Steps program at steps.amana.com.

Trinity Oaks Vineyards is a long time supporter of Trees for the Future, and just recently passed the 11 million trees planted mark!  Learn more at OneBottleOneTree.com.

We look forward to meeting you on September 10th!
